My phone had no service for the past few days as I’m celebrating my CNY on the river. 3 days paddling up the Whanganui River is an extraordinary experience. What makes this trip more remarkable was the Māori culture I get to experience in one of the night staying at Tīeke Kāinga campsite, especially the Māori song.
